OFFICIAL EVENT INFORMATION
The Austin Game Conference (AGC), a two-day event held annually in the fall, is the definitive conference for networked game development, including massively multiplayer online games, mobile and wireless games and devices, and online PC and console games.
The event is marketed internationally and provides a venue where developers, technologists and business professionals can network with colleagues, learn from industry leaders, stay informed about the latest tools, technologies and techniques and get business done in a relaxed atmosphere.
Attendees include decision-makers setting the standards and looking for insights to improve their businesses and they come to AGC to get the opportunity to drill down to the key issues.
Growth
In 2004 attendees heard from industry veterans and luminaries in a program offering more than 125 speakers in 53 sessions and 7 tracks. Planning for the 2005 Austin Game Conference has already begun.
Over 1,400 people from around the world participated in the 2004 Austin Game Conference, up from 850 people at the first AGC in 2003. The Austin Game Conference draws from an international audience with attendees, speakers and exhibitors from as far away as China, Korea, France, UK, Hong Kong, Japan and Australia.
Focus
The Conference is dedicated to meeting the needs of professionals focused on networked game development including MMOGs, online and internet multiplayer games for PCs, consoles and mobile games. Also, exclusive to the Austin Game Conference is the Mobile Game Conference which concentrates on the business and technology necessary to succeed in mobile games.
AGC 2005
