DR. DOOM
City of Villains' Most Wanted, Lord Recluse, Speaks
Ladies and gentlemen - welcome to LQGaming Services: Tonight!
I'm your host Scott Steinberg, and we're coming to you live via the Internet from our studios in cyberspace. Today, we've got a special guest on set.
City of Villains fans, get ready to stand up and cheer, because here with us now is none other than (drumroll, please): Lord Recluse, leader of Arachnos and defiler of all things good and pure in Paragon City!!!!!!!!
Welcome, your Lordship. Please take it away. (Oh, and for all you viewers out there in TV-land, be sure to tune in next week when we bring you another LQGaming Services: exclusive: Alien Nazi MMO Makers - and The Women Who Love Them!):
LQGaming Services:: Welcome to the world of massively multiplayer online gaming! Please tell us a little bit about yourself...
Lord Recluse: This kind of thing is so hard to do sometimes. I mean, what can I say about myself? Well, here goes: I'm the leader of the Arachnos villain group that rules the Rogue Isles and I have super-powers that are unmatched by anyone else in the world - with perhaps one notable exception - oh, and I enjoy "Desperate Housewives."
LQGaming Services:: What was it like growing up as a super-villain?
Lord Recluse: Growing up, I don't think I had it any different than anyone else... I loved cartoons, comic books and developing schemes to conquer the world. I had an ideal childhood with loving parents - until they got in my way.
LQGaming Services:: Did children tease you about your mask?
Lord Recluse: Well, I don't consider what I do to be crime - and those who call me a criminal live to regret it. I've always felt that what I do is a service to humanity. I'm bringing order. My law is survival of the fittest: what can be more orderly than that? If I want to take money from the bank, and no one stops me, then that is their problem.
LQGaming Services:: What do the day to day responsibilities of running a major underground organization like Arachnos involve?
Lord Recluse: It involves a lot of paperwork! I mean, putting prices on enemies' heads requires a lot of typing and data entry, and so many signatures and initials. It is a good thing I have so many arms!
