When and where is E3 2007?
E3 2007 takes place May 10-12, 2006 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The LACC is conveniently located at the intersection of the Santa Monica and Harbor Freeways.

Is the show open to the public?
No, E3 is not open to the general public. E3 is a trade event and only professionals from the industry will be allowed to attend. Individuals who are not able to document their direct and current professional affiliation to the interactive entertainment industry are not qualified to attend E3. All E3 attendees are required to show government-issued photo I.D. (such as a driver's license or passport) upon request.
What are the requirements for attending E3 2007?
E3 2007 is not open to the general public. You must be part of the interactive entertainment industry in order to attend the show, and you must be able to provide documentation demonstrating your direct and current professional affiliation in this industry. If you are from the retail sector, you must be selected by your parent company to attend. For other affiliated industries attendance is limited and late registrations may be denied. To be considered for registration, two forms of industry ID must accompany your application. At least one form of industry ID must contain your name and the name of the company where you work. Incomplete applications will not be processed, and the Management of E3 2007 reserves the right to deny any applicant admission.
Is there an age restriction?

E3 is open to trade only. No one under the age of 18 (including infants) will be admitted. THIS RULE IS STRICTLY ENFORCED. All E3 attendees are required to show government-issued photo I.D. (such as a driver's license or passport) upon request to verify age.
Do you check identification on-site?
Yes. Photo identification is checked on-site. All registrations will need to show a government issued photo I.D. (driver's license or passport) in order to receive the E3 2007 badge and badge holder. Come prepared with your identification. There are no exceptions.

How can I pre-register for E3 2007?
Click here for complete information on pre-registration by mail, fax, phone or online. Incomplete applications will not be processed, so remember to include your industry identification. There will be NO alumni express registration, prior attendance does not automatically qualify you for admission.
I have pre-registered. When will I receive my badge?
Badges will be mailed in mid- April 2006 to all U.S. attendees who are registered and qualified by April 7, 2006. Those not registered and qualified by that date must pick up their badges on-site beginning May 8, 2006 at the Attendee Will Call counter located on the West Plaza. All E3 attendees will be required to show government-issued photo I.D. (such as a driver's license or passport) in order to receive the 2006 badge and badge holder.
All International Attendees (including Canadians):
Please visit the International Registration Counters located on the second level in South Lobby above the Compass Cafe to receive your badge and badge holder. You will be required to show government-issued photo I.D. (such as a driver's license or passport) in order to receive your 2006 E3 Badge and badge holder.
I have my badge, do I need anything else in order to access the exhibit floor?
Each registrant who receives a badge by mail will need to go to a Badge Holder Pick-Up Counter to obtain a badge holder. Admittance without a badge holder is not permitted. E3 is a trade-only show and is not open to the general public; therefore, we must ensure all attendees are industry affiliates before issuing a badge holder. A government issued form of identification (driver's license or passport) is required to pick up your badge holder.

Where can I pick-up my badge holder?
Attendees may pick up their badge holders at any one of the four Badge Holder Pick-up Counters on-site at the LACC. Two counters will be available outside of South Lobby; and two counters will be located outside of West Lobby. Badge Holder Pick-Up Counters at the LACC will open on May 8th at 8:00 am. Save time and obtain your badge holder on Monday and Tuesday.

What is the cancellation policy?
All registration fees are non-refundable and registrations are non-transferable.

What are the dates for the Conference Program?
The E3 Conference Program takes place May 9 -11, 2006. Workshops take place on May 9, and Session panels take place on May 10th and 11th. The E3 Conference Program is designed to address the most significant trends and business practices in the industry, and provides attendees with direct access to the industry's top creative and business leaders.

Travel, Hotels and Shuttle Service:
How do I reserve a hotel room for E3 2007? Are discounts available?
Convention Management Resources (CMR) is the official housing and travel company for E3 2007. As a full service travel organization, CMR is your one stop for exclusive discounted rates from hotels, major airlines and car rental agencies. Is shuttle bus service available?
Complimentary shuttle bus service is provided for individuals who make their hotel reservations through CMR, the official E3 Housing Service. Look for information signage in the hotel lobbies for exact shuttle departure times and boarding locations.

What is E3 doing to enhance security at the show?
Attendee and exhibitor safety at E3 is of extreme importance to us. E3 Show Management has enhanced security measure in place, and encourages attendees and exhibitors to allow themselves enough time to arrive at meetings and events.

All bags will be subject to search upon entry to the LACC. This includes personal items such as purses, laptop cases and luggage.
As a precautionary measure, bomb dogs will be on-site.

Private vehicles will only be allowed to LACC premises to drop off passengers. No vehicle standing will be permitted.

How can I request assistance if I would like a sign language interpreter?
Attendees requiring sign language interpreters are required to notify show management by April 18, 2006, in order to ensure the availability of this service. Attendees may call 703.383.3976 to identify their special needs.

How do I obtain a visa letter of invitation?
You can request a visa letter of invitation during registration process. Once your registration is complete and you have received your confirmation, the visa invitation letter will be automatically generated and ready for you to print out from your own computer.
