GREAT news for FFXI players on the go I have news from one of my informants in SE that Square is currently developing FFXI for the PSP. Yes you heard me right FFXI for the PSP. How will SE be able to pull off this task, you say? Well, by combining and beefing up two pre-existing products:

The Datel 4GB Hard Drive

and

The Pelican Power Brick

My informant says that both of these would be beefed up with possibly 2 Hard drives on the PSP and a belt clip battery pack. He also claims the Keyboard will be easy with a bit of tweaking the PSPs Operating System and using the USB port. Apparently Square is also looking into cell phone connection to provide the online capabilities and in a move that shows they truly care about Americans they plan to have 2 cell phone connect systems: GSM (Cingular T-Mobile and about the rest of the world) and CDMA (Verizon and Sprint). My informant also claims that the price would not be all that high about $300-$400 for production and retailing at $200. We can only hope this all goes beyond the drawing board.
