Guild website: http://www.evolutioneq2.com

Game Played(s): EverQuest II

Leaders: Eliam, Czya, Cerdic, Elektra, Dadomatic, Hardan

Guild Mission:

As a united guild of players, friends and family, we come together
with a vision of support, enjoyment and comraderie. Together we will
explore the shattered world of Norrath, building relationships, skill
and knowledge evolving into a force to be reckoned with

Description:

Evolution is a sanctuary in which we trust. Its a family where we can
turn, a home where we retreat to. Within the imaginary boundaries in
which we choose to escape, we develop relationships with people that
share the same interests and goals. Here we can prosper together
forming a structure which evolves on a solid foundation. With a
coalition of united members we learn and grow through encouragment,
support and effort. In the wake of the Shattering, what was left
was.... Evolution!

Guild Activities:

We vary with the type of events that we hold. Some of the events
include, Harvesting events to support our tradeskillers, Raids,
Heritage Events, and Writ night. Other events we hold include guild
fun events, AQ grouping and we also encourage guild grouping always.

What we're about:

Evolution is a family oriented guild who encourages people to
group with one another and have fun. We don't concern ourselves with
the quantity of people but rather the quality. Most of us play within
the US time standards but have European players as well. The majority
of people play on EST but you will find an average of 15-28 people
online at a given time. We encourage our members to post on the
website, group with guildies and network within our family. We look
for solid members who seek a permanent home for themselves within the
Shattered World of Norrath.

Journals of a Monk

The Evolution begins...

Retreat was inevitable and seeking refuge upon the island was my only
means of escape. The Shattering continued to overwhelm my thoughts as
we drifted upon the sea. It was a long journey of meditation but I
learned much from the crew upon the ship. We arrived during the third
sun rise and my hunger began to grow. The rat's upon the ship hardly
satisfied my weary body but it was enough to sustain enough energy to
make the voyage.

It was a relief to feel the sand beneath my feet as I departed the
ship. Many strange faces of good will ran randomly in search of relief
from the weariness. I was given several chores from a man on the beach
who rewarded me for my work. Although I was miles from the initial
Shattering, the threat of goblins still reached this oasis upon the
sea. I did my part to help ensure our survival.

It was time for me to face the Orc Cave. I heard muttering and
whispers from other adventurers of the great terror in the cave. I was
alone but fearless for I am confident in my training thus far. Along
my journey a familiar voice traveled down the path towards me.... it
has been a long time since I heard the voice of the priestess. She has
been a companion on many journey's in the past and has healed my many
wounds in countless battles. Like mine, her bones were weary from her
journey but we both inately understood the benefit of strength in
numbers and the balance of nature, survival of the fitest. We walked
together in conversation until we became lost on the endless path. The
day began to settle and the night sky was upon us. We had lost our
way. An alarming sound of light footsteps flutter by us along the
path. It was difficult to see the elf run by us. He didn't seemed
bothered by the darkness and ran with a bounce in his step. "Hail" I
called out to the young elf as he effortlessly pivoted upon the path
and approached us. With a smile upon his face he greeted us in the
soft common tongue. He sensed our frustration of the darkness and
agreed to lead us to the cave. The three of us moved silently through
the night guided by the elf's familiar sense of direction.

Upon the cave we approached with caution. A smell of death eminated
from the cave door. The elf, for reasons unbeknownst to me, decided to
join us in battle. Within the walls of that cave we fought side by
side. Through battle we formed a union of friendship. We prevailed.

Many more battles we shared. His knowledge of the arcane sciences
overwhelmed me. He was a gifted mage with a calming reassurance in
battle. The three of us earned a ride to the villages of Qyenos. We
traveled out together.

Upon my acceptance into Starecrest Commune I was overwhelmed. Many
faces flooded the court. Chaos was apparent as I found my way to the
inn. I settled in for a long needed rest. I knew my task at hand, I
had to prove myself.

It wasn't long before my comrad found me. He was another gifted
healer. His stature was large but his heart was even larger. I have
traveled many roads comforted by his companionship. The Shaman was an
old friend and again our paths cross. A sense of relief settled in
knowing I was surrounded by friends old and new. It wasn't long before
we would journey together and adventure into a new and unexplored
land. The four of us became a united force, a wizard, a shaman, a
priestess and a monk. The first days had begun.
