Profile And Roster Updating

Admins: Updating a user, Users: Updating your profile and adding alternates

Ever want to do any of the above? Well, you can! Here is how in a few easy visual steps to find the right locations. I will be updating this later-on with a more detailed step-by-step walkthrough. Keep in mind that I'm using my template for these images, so your guild site's might have different colors and a slightly different layout. Admin panel should remain the same except for colors and font size.

Admins: Member Manager

1) Access your Admin panel:

2) Click on the "Member Manager" link:

3) Within that selection you can add/edit members information. More on this soon...

Users: Updating Your Profiles

Gained a new level? Decided to add an alternate character? Here is an quick visual guide to access all this information for you to change. More details will be added, for now the basics:

1) Providing the guild leader has setup a roster, click on the link. It will likely look like a button you see in the first image above, titled Roster, Roster Page, Members, or something similar.

2) Here is an image of a simple roster setup. There is only one member in this roster. Notice under the column "Player Name" there is a linked title of the user's name? That is the link you click on to access your profile.

The expanded view will look like the image below. The numbered points are these features:

1) This should only be visible by the administrator. Allow visibility options for the public.
2) This is the link to edit everything you see on your profile.
3) Your alternate characters will be selectable here, but only after you add them of course, using No. 2
4) This area will expand greatly the more raids and other activities in the guild you participate in. This stuff is generally NOT editable.

This is the page where you can edit everything. Most of it is self-explanatory, so I'll just highlight a few notable areas. When you're done editing simply click on the "Submit" link at the bottom to update the changes.

1) This is where you go to add/edit/delete alternates. Details on this soon.
2) Magelo is a special profile program that some use. Do not bother with this slot if you don't use Magelo. Magelo can be found here: http://www.magelo.com/
3) AA points are specifically for EverQuest. Ignore this field for all other games.
