Advanced Editing

Advanced Editing

Welcome to our more advanced section of GuildWizard development. Most of our tools on the guild service are provided with as little learning curve as possible. You want to build your sites quickly to get into your games, right?! Even so, we also provide advanced tools to help you go that one step further in creating a truly unique site with all the options you want.

Below is an explanation of our custom pages editor, as well as some HTML references to help you get started with coding Custom Pages. What are custom pages? When selecting your 'Admin Pages' menu you will see the "Custom Pages Manager" link. This area of site editing allows you to create pages that are unique to your site, right down to the background and text that resides within. Creating a charter through the custom pages menu for instance is a great example.

Custom Page Manager Introduction (Provided with the Custom Page Manager menu)

You can use this page to create your own custom HTML pages by typing in the info in the HTML editor below. You can add pictures, links, color, etc, all from this page.

This is useful for pages such as your recruitment policy, guild charter/rules, or any other page that you could possibly think of! The 'address' of your custom pages will be like this: yourguildname.guildwizard.com/custom.aspx?pid=1 Where the number one is the identifying page ID.

To edit an existing custom page, select the page ID from the drop-down list and click the edit check box to enter its edit mode. When you want to save your changes you MUST click the Send button to save your work!

Please be aware that you currently cannot remove custom pages from your website! You have to submit to us a request to remove the specific pages, to: guildsupport@lqgaming.com. If you want to add additional custom pages and already have "junk" ones no longer in use, edit these before adding new pages.
