Profession Trainers-Skill Quests
All skills are given when you receive the quest. All other rewards are given once the quest is complete.
Warrior
:First Trainer: Van Warrior
Location: just outside of Ascalon
Quest Given: Warrior Test
What you have to do: Clear the river of skale.
Reward: From Van Warrior-500 xp, Frenzy (no attribute), Healing signet (tactics).
Second Trainer: Warmaster Grast
Location: just inside Green Hill County
Quest Given: Grawl Invasion
What you have to do: Stop the Grawl invasion down the road by killing all the "Grawl Invaders."
Reward: From Warmaster Grast-250 xp, Server Artery (swordsmanship), Gash (swordsmanship), and Healing signet (tactics) for those with warrior secondary.
Third Trainer: Duke Barradin
Location: Barradin Estate
Quest Given: Warrior's Challenge
What you have to do: Kill Agnar the Foot near the vineyard in Green Hills County. Use Hammer Bash to interrupt his Rage skill.
Reward: From Duke Barradin-250 xp, Hammer Bash (Hammer Mastery), and Frenzy (no attribute) for those with warrior secondary.
Fourth Trainer: Little Thom
Location: in Barradin Estate
Quest Given: The Vineyard Problem
What you have to do: Stop the Aloe Seeds from spreading in the Duke's Vineyard just outside of Barradin Estate by killing them all.
Reward: From Little Thom-250 xp, Cyclone Axe (Axe Mastery), and Executioner's Strike (Axe Mastery).
Monk
:First Trainer: Ciglo the Monk
Location: just outside of Ascalon
Quest Given: Monk Test
What you have to do: Follow the road until you find the skale. Go left off of the road and cross the river until you find Gwen. Lead her back to Ciglo the Monk but you must kill all of the skale. She will not move until they are dead.
Reward: From Ciglo the Monk-500 xp, Healing Breeze (Healing Prayers), and Banish (Smiting Prayers).
Second Trainer: Brother Mhenlo
Location: inside Ashford Abby
Quest Given: A Monk's Mission
What you have to do: Enter the Catacombs. Meet up with Paulus. Follow him into the Catacombs. Keep him alive while he runs through a diseased swamp. Follow him back out of the Catacombs.
Reward: From Brother Mhenlo-250 xp, Bane Signet (Smiting Prayers), and Orison of Healing (Healing Prayers)
Third Trainer: Grazden the Protector
Location: in Green Hill County
Quest Given: Protection Prayers
What you have to do: Meet Farrah Cappo in Lakeside County. Follow her and make sure she stays alive. Help her hunt down and kill the bandit Alain.
Reward: From Grazden the Protector-250 xp, Shielding Hands (Protection Prayers), and Reversal of Fortune (Protection Prayers)
Fourth Trainer: Brother Mhenlo
Location: inside Ashford Abby
Quest Given: The Blessings of Balthazar
What you have to do: Help kill the skeletons in the fields to the left outside of Ashford Abby.
Reward: From Brother Mhenlo-250 xp, Retribution (Smiting Prayers), and Symbol of Wrath (Smiting Prayers)
Ranger
:First Trainer: Artemis the Ranger
Location: Lakeside County
Quest Given: Ranger Test
What you have to do: Find the River Skale Queen in the woods and kill her.
Reward: From Artemis the Ranger-500 xp, Power Shot (Marksmanship), and Troll Unguent (Wilderness Survival)>
Second Trainer: Master Ranger Nente
Location: in Regent Valley
Quest Given: The Ranger's Companion
What you have to do: Find the shrine of Melandru and charm a Melandru Stalker.
Reward: From Master Ranger Nente-250 xp, Comfort Animal (Beast Mastery), Charm Animal (Beast Mastery), and Troll Unguent (Wilderness Survival) for those with ranger secondary.
Third Trainer: Ivor Trueshot
Location: in Regent Valley (He can be tricky to find-From Ashford Village cross the bridge and go into Regent Valley. As soon as you port into Regent Valley leave the road and head over the hill to the left. Follow the hill around and it will lead you to a road. Follow the road. When the bridge comes into view leave the road and climb the hill to the right. Follow the path around to the left and up to the top of the hill).
Quest Given: Test of Marksmanship
What you have to do: Head east along the ridge until you find the Plague Worms. You have 1:30 to kill all of the worms
Reward: From Ivor Trueshot-250 xp, Read the Wind (Marksmanship), and Point Blank Shot (Expertise)
Fourth Trainer: Aidan
Location: in Wizard's Folly on the edge of the Fishing Village.
Quest Given: An Unnatural Growth
What you have to do: Head west to the water falls and kill the Aloe Husks until you find an aloe root.
Reward: From Aidan-250 xp, Ignite Arrows (Wilderness Survival), and Dual Shot (no attribute).
Necromancer
:First Trainer: Verata the Necromancer
Location: just outside of Ascalon
Quest Given: Necromancer Test
What you have to do: Head up the road and towards the left to the river. Kill a Skale so that Verata can use its corpse.
Reward: From Verata the Necromancer-500 xp, Vampiric Gaze (Blood Magic), and Deathly Swarm (Death Magic).
Second Trainer: Necromancer Munne
Location: inside the Catacombs entrance in Ashford Abby
Quest Given: The Necromancer's Novice
What you have to do: Head into the Catacombs. Head to the right and follow the path into a large rectangular room. Take the first right in this room and follow its path. Use Bone Horrors to trigger the geysers to get past them.
Reward: From Necromancer Munne-250 xp, Animate Bone Horror (Death Magic), and Life Siphon (Blood Magic)>
Third Trainer: Kasha Blackblood
Location: in Green Hill County near Grazden the Protector
Quest Given: The Power of Blood
What you have to do: Enter the Catacombs, seek out the Blood Fanatics and kill them
Reward: From Kasha Blackblood-250 xp, Blood Renewal (Blood Magic), and Vampiric Touch (Blood Magic).
Fourth Trainer: Oberan the Reviled
Location: inside of the Catacombs (Head into the Catacombs. Head to the right and follow the path into a large rectangular room. Take the second right in this room and follow its path through the spiders until you find Oberan the Reviled).
Quest Given: The Accursed Path
What you have to do: Destroy all of the Crypt Fiends
Reward: From Oberan the Reviled-500 xp, Faintheartedness (Curses), and Soul Barbs (Curses).
Elementalist
:First Trainer: Howland the Elementalist
Location: just outside of Ascalon
Quest Given: Elementalist Test
What you have to do: Kill the skale along the road and the river until you get a shimmering skale.
Reward: From Howland the Elementalist-250 xp, Flare (Fire Magic), and Aura of Restoration (Energy Restoration).
Second Trainer: Elementalist Azure
Location: in Wizard's Folly in the snowy mountains
Quest Given: A New Elementalist Trainer (given by Haversdan in Foible's Fair)
What you have to do: Kill all of the Ice Elementals with Firestorm
Reward: From Haversdan-Firestorm (Fire Magic), Glyph of Lesser Energy (no attribute), Aura of Restoration (Energy Restoration) for those with elementalist secondary. From Elementalist Azure-250 xp.
Third Trainer: Ralena Stormbringer
Location: in Foible's Fair
Quest Given: The Supermacy of Air
What you have to do: Kill the Gower Golem near the big tower.
Reward: From Elementalist Azure-250 xp, Blinding Flash (Air Magic), and Lightening Javelin (Air Magic).
Mesmer
:First Trainer: Sebedoh the Mesmer
Location: just outside of Ascalon
Quest Given: Mesmer Test
What you have to do: Follow the road until you see the skale. Kill all of the skale to clear the road.
Reward: From Sebedoh the Mesmer-500 xp, Empathy (Domination Magic), and Ether Feast (Inspiration Magic).
Second Trainer: Lady Althea
Location: outside of Ascalon to the right at the actor's stage
Quest Given: A Mesmer's Burden
What you have to do: Kill the rogue bull in a watering hole to the southwest.
Reward: From Lady Althea-250 xp, Conjure Phantasm (Illusion Magic), Imagined Burden (Illusion Magic), and Ether Feast (Inspiration Magic) for those with mesmer secondary.
Third Trainer: Vassar
Location: in Foible's Fair
Quest Given: Domination Magic
What you have to do: Leave Foible's Fair and head east to the woods. Kill the Skale Brood.
Reward: From Vassar-250 xp, Backfire (Domination Magic), and Shatter Delusions (Domination Magic).
