Objective:
In this mission, your objective is to push back the invading Charr Army.
Pro Hints and Tips:
You will be facing Charr for the entire mission. There are five types that you will encounter, and each one plays a role in the demise of your allies. Your party will benefit from targeting healers first, then the casters, then the archers, and finally the warriors. The reason for this is to minimize the amount of damage your entire party takes. Eliminating the healers first allows your party to deal more un-recovered damage, thus decreasing the time it takes to kill the remaining foes. By targeting the casters next, you eliminate the damage that basically ignores armor. The rangers are always a threat to your entire party due to their range, so taking them out will ease the amount of party members that are in harms way. The reason for leaving the warrior types for last is because they generally only target one player, they deal physical damage which can be handled with armor, and their armor is usually much better than the other foes, so you will want your entire party to focus damage on them. If by chance you do run into trouble where there are too many foes on one person, you can use AoE (Area of Effect) skills such as Firestorm to scatter the foes away from them. But be cautious in doing this, for you may help them, but you could make yourself the next target in the process.
The henchmen here are at level 6. They can be useful, so please don't hesitate to bring them along. I always suggest that you try to get a party of real players to enjoy in the diversity of play and skills that people use, but if all else fails, the henchmen can be used to complete this task.
The trick for getting the Bonus for this mission is teamwork. If you do not have a high level player escorting you around, you will have to focus all your efforts on one of the two healers you will face. If you do not focus your attack, then they will continue to heal each other and you will never defeat them.
Walkthrough:
- Follow the Ascalon Militia North in their efforts to slay the Charr Army
- You will reach a wall where the first boss comes out. Master Armin Saberlin will stop here and you must talk with him about rescuing Deeter Saberlin for the Bonus.
- The next area brings you through a series of paths. You will find it advantageous to keep to one side such that you don't draw the fire of two enemy groups at once. There will be locations where only ranged attacks will work. Your party can decide to fight them, or to simply run past them.
- You will encounter the second boss just before make a sharp turn down another path.
- You will then reach a place where the path goes off to the right, this where you must go for the bonus.
- The Bonus is obtained after defeating both of the Charr Overseer.
- Return down the path and continue straight. The third boss will be running towards you at this point.
- After defeating him, you will continue down that path. Two more groups of enemies await you on either side of you. You can choose to fight them or to simply run past them.
- Your next task is to locate Siege Master Loramar. The path leading to him can be seen here
- The fourth boss will be located just in front of him. Defeat that group and talk to him. He will ask you to find three pieces to make the catapult functional again.
- The three pieces of the catapult are located in Wreckage in a close proximity. Use the "alt" key to easily locate these wreckage piles. He will then repair the catapult and you can use it to take out the large mass of Charr.
- Then you will continue to the second catapult and use it to weaken the remaining Charr forces.
- The foes here are not always compliant with being in range of the catapult, so you may need to send someone up ahead to draw them into range.
- After this, you will a set of stairs leading to the final boss. Defeat this boss and the mission is complete.

Bonus:
The Bonus here only requires your party to attack in unison. Monk type foes and bosses are very difficult to kill due to their strong healing abilities. When you have more than one healer in an area, it makes this task even more difficult. The lesson to be taken from this bonus is that you must focus all of your parties attacks to defeat these foes in this situation. You will find out that this tactic works well throughout the game.
