Guild Wars: Factions Give Away!

The Guild Wars: Factions Give Away Contest is now over! Thank you everyone for participating!

Due to the server difficulties LQGaming experienced this weekend, we're pleased to announce that we're extending the contest until Thursday, April 20th.

We found a typo in our contest introduction last week and we would like to bring the following correction to your attention:

Instead of reading "we have 100 copies of Faction" you should read "we have 100 copies of Faction pre-order kit". We apologize for this and to show you our commitment to our readers we are giving away 5 COPIES OF THE EXPANSION ITSELF, in addition to the 100 pre-orders!

The Contest - What Is It?

Guild Wars LQGaming is proud to announce the first annual Guild Wars Easter Egg Hunt! Don't expect to find chocolate at the end of this adventure - instead we have 100 copies of the Factions pre-order kit (for details on the goodies in the kit click here) ! That's right, we have ONE HUNDRED copies of the pre-order kit to give away, plus five copies of the expansion itself and there is only one catch: you need to find an Easter Eggs somewhere on our site. Once you find one - and fill out the contest form - you are entered into a lottery and 105 winners will be randomly selected.

Contest Rules

Though we are giving away free copies of Factions pre-order kit and five copies of the game itself, there are some rules that must be followed. They are designed to both present somewhat of a challenge and to promote fairness to all entrants. They are listed below:

There are five easter eggs placed over the content pages of Guild Wars LQGaming. In order to enter the contest you must locate one of them. Some of the eggs are located on pages dedicated to the expansion, others are not. It's up to you to find them! We must ask as well, once found, that you do not tell any other participants of where they are..

Staff members (content and moderators) are not eligible for this give away.

Once you have found an easter egg (remember we want the page link, not the link to the egg itself), fill out the entry form found here. - The contest has concluded so the entry form link was removed

You may only enter this contest once.

This contest is only open to citizens of the United States of America.

Length and Drawing Method

This contest will run from Thursday April 13th to Thursday April 20th, 2006. In addition, entrants who have successfully located the easter eggs will have their names entered into a pool and we will draw 105 names. Names drawn will either receive the pre-order kit or five lucky winners will receive the expansion itself!

Notifying Winners

Entrants who were chosen as winners will be contacted by e-mail and notified that their prize has been shipped.
