Let's get ready to rummmmble!

ast week I received some critique from several people, who were complaining DuckTales was nothing more than "a thread from the off topic room turned into an article". Whether or not I agree with the above statement is not the point, I'm writing this for my readers and thus will have to listen to them. To prevent this week's episode from turning into "a thread from the off topic room turned into an article" I'll throw in some other, interesting stuff that has nothing to do with the official forums at all!

As a kick-off, I'll briefly address some official forums issues. First of all, this week (or rather, the last days) things have been a bit hectic, and perhaps, upset at the forums. Don't go looking for a link, it was and still is all over the Off Topic forums. What's the deal? Well, every sane member that visits the OT Forums on a regular basis (if there are any) knows, and is familiar with, the atmosphere that is so characteristic for those boards. To describe said 'feeling', I can be short: nothing is serious. If you want to survive out there, take on the motto of: "NEVER be serious, never take anything serious".

However, there are certain people out there who clearly lack any form of sanity and take life (and with it the official forums) WAY too seriously. Normally, I avoid these kinds of people and I think they avoid me too. No problems there. Now what has happened? These persons, Whom Shall Not Be Named, have taken a joke made by a wonderful community member way too seriously, and have blown it out of proportion. As a result of it, Patience was forced to take action and even threatened to close down the OT Forums for a while.

Needless to say I very much blame You Know Who. But I'll stop right here, for a wise man once said "Don't feed the trolls". And while I like to believe it was said by a slave before he was thrown into a cage to serve as food for the trolls, he IS correct.

Oh, for the ones interested in throwing mud at Those Whose Names Shall Not Be Pronounced, ep has created two forums over at Arda Post where people can go all out and act in a way not found appropriate on the officials. So I urge all my fellow sicko's to go there and thus protest against the Morality Police!

Alright, enough of those dark tidings, I have once again a happy announcement to make! I, Morfang, Supporter of Superior Slackiness have finally found a job! I'll be working fulltime at a Call-Center, annoying the hell out of people. Why is this new, you ask? Well, this time I annoy people by phone AND I get paid. Since me and my best friend have decided (kinda) to search for a place for ourselves, the money comes in quite handy. For the Dutch people out there, we are looking for a house in Arnhem so if you know any cheap ones.... call us!

As always, we've all enjoyed the Thursday Update. This time however, it was something more than an update: it was actual information!! We've been told about The Old Forest, and seen some incredible screenshots. I have said over and over again I don't want the devs to rush this game.... but I begin to think otherwise: I want that game now!!

To speak in the words of my fellow forum member, Nighthart: "I think I'm going to like this game".

Now if only they would release more screenshots, I think Tucks is beginning to fear for the postponing of LQGamings Caption Contests due to lack of actual screenies! If you ask me, doing captions of screenshots is fine and all, but why not do the same but with pictures of forum members? I can think of a few I would like to... 'caption'....

As I look around in my room, I realize I really should do some vaccuum cleaning, clothes everywhere and leftovers are beginning to talk to one another. Not that they'd have something interesting to talk about, can you imagine a piece of bread having a conversation with a bit of sausage? No? I can, it'd probably go like this:

"Yo Bit of Sausage (BS)! 'Sup?"
"Z0r Piece of Bread (PB), I are doing well!"
"Can't you spell correctly, you wanna-be frankfurter?!"
"Hey, stop the insults you stale son of a wheat!"
"Okay okay, wanna do a hot-dog together?"
"Sure, it's gonna be a bit dry though, without the sauce..."
"That's alright, we'll figure something out."


You see, not that hard...
