Talus Bestiary
Talus is a lush and beautiful moon and it is home to a great variety of wildlife and more than a couple of political groups. Enjoy the scenery, take in the gorgeous skyscape, and watch your back.
These large, hostile creatures migrate in small groups (called pods) to warmer climates during the cold season. They can be very territorial, and are often hunted for their meat and hides. |

A particular breed of kima (a wolf-like creature) that tends to live in more rugged areas. Slightly larger and more powerful than the kima, these creatures can periodically be found in packs. |
A wolf-like creature unique to Talus, these animals are frequently found solitary, hunting in less-populated areas. Kima's are known for the powerful ability to intimidate their foes, which frequently happens at the beginning of battle, making the kima's enemy an easier target. |

Kahmurra are a distance relative of the murra, genetically engineered as a possible all-terrain hunting beast. The project was abandoned when funding ran out and the lead-geneticist's health began to fade. They now run wild on Talus; some have since been caught and trained, though with great difficulty (and a few unfortunate early attempts). |
The sludge panther is distantly related to the Corellian Sand Panther, and livis in swamps and dank jungles. These creatures roll around in mud to mask its scent when hunting. |

A genetic offshoot of the more common Mynock, these small creatures are known to be found high in the mountains.
Having no arms or legs, the Vynock uses the small tentacles that surround its head to locate its food and draw it to its mouth. Woe be to the pirate who doesn't check for Vynocks before landing. Since the Vynock's diet consists only of metals, spacecraft are a banquet for these creatures. |
