Endor Bestiary

The Forest Moon of Endor is known for its vast forest areas. Most Noteable for its population of Ewoks, it also is home to quite a range of creatures; from the tiny Remmer to the massive Bolle Bol.

This large herbivore travels in packs. These beasts are known for their stealthy movement, even when grouped in large numbers. They may look cute, but they will quickly defend their homes and each other.

Bearded Jax

Blurrg
Inhabiting the savannas of the Forest Moon of Endor, the blurrg is a remarkably stupid creature that has been domesticated by the Marauders.
The boar-wolf, or borra, is a predatory animal that lives on the Forest Moon of Endor. Boar-wolves are about three meters tall. They have lots of hair, and two tusks. They are sometimes domesticated by the primitive Goraxes, usually by having their mother killed and then being taken away by the Gorax.

Bolle Bol
This bio-engineered variant on the bol was imported to the planet Naboo and eventually to the Forest Moon of Endor in large numbers. Once established, the bolle bols grouped into large herds and began to reproduce on their own.
A small, horse-shaped creature native to the forest moon of Endor, the bordok is not believed to be indigenous to the moon. The Ewoks domesticate them and use them as pack animals. The front legs of a bordok are much longer than the rear legs, giving the creature a sloped back and powerful neck. There are two distinct subspecies of bordok found on the Endor moon: the rare greater bordok and the smaller, more plentiful lesser bordok. Each species has two horns which grows from their heads, just above the ears, which are used for fighting and for attracting a mate.

Bordok

Ewok
A small race of furry humanoids, the Ewoks are the primary native civilization on the Forest Moon of Endor. They live in treetop villages, or in some cases, in homes built on stilts by the lakeshores. Although they lack high technology, they are intelligent and cunning.
The gurreck is a horned predator native to the forests of the moon of Endor. Gurrecks stands on four powerful, clawed feet and has striped fur. The carnivore has two large, tusk-like fangs atop his snout.

Gurreck

Hanadak
The hanadak looks like a cross between a large primate and a common boar, yet enlarged in all of it's proportions. Having a fondness for meat, many a traveler to Endor has learned that the hanadak are as frightening as they appear to be. Some of the sentient species on the planet claim that the giant gorax are actually the true masters of the hanadak.
Not much is known about this reptillian like creature. Until more research is done, Imperial scientists recommend you stay away from them... unless you're in the Rebel Alliance.

Kaitok

Lanternbird
A beautiful flying creature from the Forest Moon of Endor, the lantern bird is notable for its brilliant plumage.
Half-arachnid and half-monkey, the merek is a strange creature native to the Forest Moon of Endor. They do not live in families, generally, and are not particularly aggressive in the wild.

Merek

Remmer
Natives of the Forest Moon of Endor, remmer are disgusting little scavenger creatures. They eat practically everything: dirt, string, carrion, wood, paper, bugs.
Robas are large porcine beasts with an average adult weight of approximately nine hundred kilograms.

Robas are the favored prey of the Ranats, who use hit-and-run tactics to kill them. Packs of Ranats would chase the giant beasts, making swift, flesh-ripping attacks to weaken the robas and quickly retreating from their large tusks. Eventually, the weakened beasts would fall, and the Ranats would move in for the kill.

Roba

Swirl Prong
Commonly found alone or in small groups, the swirl prong of Endor easily navigates steep cliffs in order to stay away from predators. If need be, they will use their horns to defend themselves.
