Kachirho

Kachirho is both a city and a region on Kashyyyk, and the name can refer to either. Kachirho City is the largest native Wookiee village on the planet and houses the only starport and cantina to be found anywhere on Kashyyyk. The majority of the city is built into an enormous wroshyr tree hundreds of meters above the ground; players can travel up the tree's trunk to any of the city's three levels, where they will find a vast array of NPCs with quests to perform.

In addition to the city itself, the Kachirho zone contains some expansive wilderness areas suited for hunting at Combat Levels 20 to 30.

The region around Kachirho City is home to numerous competing interests, including the Zssik and Blackscale Slaver Compound, several Wookiee resistance settlements, a small Rodian Hunter's Camp, Chiss poachers, and dangerous highwaymen. Most of Kashyyyk's major quest series start in the Kachirho area.

All the other planetside zones on Kashyyyk can be reached from Kachirho (either directly or through one other zone). And the city area is literally packed with NPCs waiting to send you off on quests.

Kachirho is probably the safest area on the planet. Expect to find relatively benign creatures like the freaky looking Kashyyyk Bantha, some Sathogs, and a ton of noisy veractyl. Not all the creatures are large either, watch your step lest you tread on a little Ro Roo or a Jyykle Vulture.

There is plenty to see and do here before you venture into any of the other zones on the planet. Be sure to check out the and the Wookiee Isolationist Village; just keep in mind not all Wookiees are as friendly as Chewbacca.
