Mustafar Bestiary

Daylight never really makes an appearance on Mustafar with all the smoke in the air. The creatures on the planet use this to their advantage so be aware of your surroundings at all times. You'll never know when a Blistmok Raptor or hungry Jundak Stalker will appear in range of you.

This omnivorous creature is native to the planet Mustafar, where it is known as an extremely aggressive beast. Individuals are easily provoked, and will sometimes attack another creature without provocation. A tulrus is distinguished by its heavy body and the massive spikes that crown its head and run along its spine. These spikes are used in defense, however, and the tulrus preferrs to trample its victims using its massive size.

Blistmok Raptor
This low-bodied reptile, distinguished by the two fans that rose from its back, is native to several planets, including Talus and Mustafar. They are pack hunters, and pursue their prey for days before attacking.
This iss a species of long-bodied lizard that is native to the Berken's Flow region of the planet Mustafar. It moves about on poweful legs, and its large head is dominated by its wide, crocodilian mouth.

Crowned Lava Runner

Jundak Stalker
This immense beast is native to the planet Mustafar, where it began its life as a simple parasite. An immature jundak obtains nourishment by lodging itself in a host. When it reaches an adolescent stage, the jundak will burst forth from its host's body, and continue to grow throughout its life. Fortunately for other creatures, a jundak is unable to survive beyond a specific region of central Mustafar.
This species of beetle is common on the surface of Mustafar. A species of hive-minded insects, kubaza feed on the minerals and ores that are deposited by the continual flow of lava on the planet's surface. What distinguishes the kubaza beetle from other such insects is its ability to explode when killed, a sort of defense mechanism that serves to protect future generations from devastation.

Lava Flea
Being native to Mustafar, the Lava Flea has developed a resistance to the lava and heat of the planet. Due to this resistance, the Lava Flea makes an ideal mount when traversing the planet. Even though many tribes of the planet raise these creatures as mounts, you can still find many of these beasts in the wild.

Players who pre-ordered the Trials of Obi-Wan received the lava flea mount as a bonus.
Another variety of the Blistmok raptors, the Lowland Blistmok should be feared just as much. They carry all the vicious and intelligent traits of the other raptors of this family. You may think they look funny, but provoke them and they'll get the last laugh.

Malfunctioning Patrol Droid
Droids are among the most common sight in the Galaxies. They come in all shapes and sizes and serve infinite functions. Unfortunately, they tend to malfunction a lot too. The Patrol Droids on Mustafar are no exception and since they carry heavy weaponry... you might want to be extra careful when you see Droids on this planet. Ain't technology grand?
Besides it's volcanic activity, Mustafar is also known for it's mineral deposits. Mustafarian Lava Miners are the ones whom work in mining out those deposits. You can usually find these miners and their Crew Chiefs in small groups with a few Mustafarian Mining Droids nearby in the lava.

Queen Kubaza Beetle
A larger and more dangerous version of the Kubaza Beetle. You can bet she won't be alone either. If you want to survive, you might want to make sure you're not alone when you face one.
