Grieving (yeah, not "Griefing" :P) & Co.

I'm normally a very calm person, I rarely get mad and I always try to keep things cool. Today I had it different...

It all started around 10pm. I wanted to get a group for the "Death Watch Bunker" (the hardest dungeon in the game, which has very nice loot), but my guild has collapsed so I couldn't count on them. I started inviting some cool people I had met before in PvP and what not and I had to invite one or two whom I did not know, but I was in a good mood so we all set sail to the said dungeon.

We started killing stuff and looting everything. The loot mode was on lottery which is good for lower loots like those we were getting from the NPC's we killed. Everyone was doing a great job and we were advancing quickly. The medics were healing and reviving the players and the fighters were killing. Everything was going too well...

After around two hours of fighting we got to the dungeon boss, the Death Watch Overlord. He drops some great stuff, too great actually. Lottery was no longer an option because whatever we looted had to be shared by the whole group (the money we would make after selling the loot), but unfortunately I forgot to switch the loot mode to Master Looter and then it was too late. One of the guys I didn't know had gotten the loot piece assigned to him...

We started discussing in group chat on how the loot should be shared with the whole group but the guys wouldn't listen. He kept saying he was going to keep the loot and there was nothing you can do to stop him. He also said we were "blackmailing" him for wanting to share the loot, talk about stupid people. After around 45 minutes of discussion, he left the group and took the loot with him. The other group members were all pissed off and swore he'd never hunt with us again.

After this unfortunate incident the group disbanded and we all went our separate ways. I ended up in Bestine talking with a guy I knew from PvP (talking about the incident with the loot actually). He proceeded to call me a "noob". He then challenged me for a duel and in the end he deathblowed me (it is not a polite thing to deathblow in a friendly duel). I was already pissed off by the loot incident but it aggravated me even more with this other incident.

We dueled six more times after. He always cancelled the duel when he was about to lose (I only managed to actually kill him once) and he killed me two times out of those six duels. The worse part is that he accused ME of canceling the duels! Yeah, because I'd cancel a duel just before I was about to kill my opponent. Makes total sense...

He kept lying and saying I had ended the duels until I had to add him to my ignore list. What a sad person...

After all this crap I ask myself: Why do these people do what they do? Just to piss of the others? Because they had a bad childhood? Because they are stupid? Probably all of the above. People like this don't deserve to play online games because obviously they aren't civilized enough to do so.

And that concludes the lesson for the day. Stay in school, don't do drugs, play with only those you trust, don't be whiners and don't be the cause of grieve to others.

Well Mr I think I know everything 123 I dont think you know as much about the english language either. I believe that Carlos implied that people had dropped out of school. You would have then inferred that he had meant that. You also have horrible grammar. You forgot to put a semi-colon or period between school and yet. You also forgot to put a question mark after articles. Oh subpar doesnt need a hyphen. I can only assume that you are one of those idiots that Carlos had been describing in his post. Perhaps that is why you seem so angry about his post. -Concerned

dont you think its all a bit childish complaining about a game like this Everyone that has plabeep SWG knows full well the dangers of hunting with people they dont know especially when its dungeons like the death watch. You should have known better. Im not saying he was right to run with the loot like that he obviously has no honour or sense of whats right after all it takes a team effort to get anywhere in that dungeon but you invited him and you are partly to blame. Be a man about it and hold up your hands. Calling people childish or retarded wont solve anything it only makes you look like your on his level too. Forget about it blacklist the guy and dont hunt with him again. Learn your lesson from this but dont beep about it on forums its only a game afterall.

hmmm the question should be is 123 actallyenglish or is he an inbreed of some offshoot of english considering the only true englsh speaking country is scotland as they have never been conqured by any other nation and yes the NGE has brought in more shall we say pre-pubecsent kids or power gamers who cant any more so are frustrated

I think I know why they are all idiots. For one there all like 10 years old now since all he veterans such as myself are gone. Two the NGE sucks ass and EVERYONE knows it so everyone left is just out to beep each other over untill SOE or LA either one of the Aholes pulls he plug. The second guy was a just a jerk. My question about the first incedent is did you discuss the loot mode before you started fighting If you didnt and had been doing a lotery loot the whole dungeon then why should the guy be expected to give it up. I mean for 2 hours you have been doing lottery loot and then with no warning you are asked to give up your best looted item because someone forgot to change the loot mode - and never discussed it with the group before the loot dropped. If it wasnt discussed before it dropped then I think the only person that should be angry is the guy who got the drop for how he was treated by the group. But if it was discussed before hand then you are 100 correct and you should blacklist the dude.
