How did you get into the industry?
I grew up playing all sorts of games - D&D, MUDs and especially Origin games (Ultima, WC). In early '95 while selling computers for a living, I took a chance and applied for a customer service position at Origin. After a fairly comprehensive (but fun) technical test (mmm, DOS), I started as a CS rep on the phone, helping people get our games running. I spent time in QA on various projects, including finally working on an Ultima (UO). I left Origin and went to another company (Digital Anvil) as a QA Lead and eventually moved into design and have been doing it ever since (console, PC, MMP).
