How did you get into the industry?
I was laid off from a tiny dot com that was drowning (cooked books, 2 sets in fact, etc.) and I needed a job. Sent out 180 resumes in 4½ days. One was to OSI (jobs@origin.com) completely unsolicited. They weren't even looking for anyone like me. Tammy Johnson, the HR director, was a genius. She actually read my resume, connected some dots and called me up. I interviewed with 5 or so managers and go the job offer about 24 hours later. That was the beginning of the end. so to speak. Heh!
