Describe your job
My job is to help evolve the ideas, objects, creatures, and systems within the game, and then to develop those crazy ideas and illustrate them as concepts. I work closely with the game designers and the world builders to invent worlds that are as interesting and beautiful as possible. Schedule and technical constraints are a big factor, but after everything is said and done, my job is to make up cool-looking stuff that works.
What do you like most about your job?
I get a chance to combine and use my technical knowledge and curiosity in parallel with my creative and expressive side. I get to solve problems in a creative way, and to help make worlds that couldn't exist in any other way. On top of that, I get to work with amazingly dedicated, very good people. Also, the free coffee is a big incentive.
