Voice Commands

In order to chat with your fellow players, you'll need to know how to use channels, reply to 'whispers', and more. There are several categories of Slash Commands. Select the one you want to view the list.

One of the best ways to bring life to your character is to have him/her talk. Using voice commands, this is quite possible in WoW, and often quite humorous.

/v aid - Ask for help.

/v attack - You will holler your intent to attack a mob.

/v charge - Your player yells for the group (or himself) to charge into the enemy.

/v cheer - Cheer exuberantly.

/v chicken - Run around and flap your arms like a chicken... clucking all the way.

/v fire - Yell for your group to fire upon the enemy.

/v flee - Your character will call for a hasty retreat.

/v flirt - Various interesting statements for flirting with other characters. Varies depending on race and gender.

/v followme - (alias '/v fol') Signify that your fellows should follow you.

/v goodbye - Bid your fellows a fond farewell.

/v grats - Congratulate someone for making a level, killing a mob, or just being themselves.

/v silly - Tell your friends a joke!

/v thankyou - It's always polite to thank your fellow players.

/v wait - Your character will ask the group to wait.

/v welcome - Be sure to tell someone they're welcome after they thank you!

/v yes - Just say yes? Depends on the question. hee hee.
