Channel Commands

In order to chat with your fellow players, you'll need to know how to use channels, reply to 'whispers', and more. There are several categories of Slash Commands. Select the one you want to view the list.

For many reasons, players may create their own channels for private discussion. Most common is in the event of a raid. This allows those not involved in the raid to not have to be involved in the discussions either. Depending on the purpose of the channel, you may want to set some rules and such. Use these commands for that purpose.

/#, /c, /csay - Send text to channel # (For Example: /1 Hi!) will appear in channel 1 of the chat window.

/afk - Set your Away From Keyboard flag so other players know when you're away.

/announcements - (alias '/ann') Toggle join/leave announcements on a channel, turning them on or off.

/ban - Ban a player from a channel you moderate.

/channel {channel} - (alias '/chan') Join a specific channel.

/chatinfo [channel] - List any info about the current channel.

/chatinvite {player} - (alias '/cinvite') Invite a specific player to a channel.

/chatlist - List channels you have joined.

/chatwho - List members in the current channel.

/dnd - Set your Do Not Disturb flag so other players know when you're busy.

/join {channel} - Join a specific channel.

/kick - Kick a player off a channel.

/moderator {player} - (alias '/mod') Make a player a channel moderator.

/mute {player} - Remove a player's ability to chat in a channel you moderate.

/password {channel} {password} - (alias '/pass') Change channel password.
